Did you upgrade the injectors at the same time? When I did mine (k-04-15) I did the 5 bar reg. but did the injector upgrade at the same time. I never tried the reg without the bigger injetors, but I'd guess you are just reaching the end of your injectors capabilities? What engine code do you have?

no it is a stock maf element of my old a4 that i totaled...ya doose u have a good point. i remember that happening when i did that to my 98. deff try to take that fpr reg out.

 

no i did not upgrade injectors, i talked to dubwerks bout it and they said injectors were not neccessary,no ive got a 99.5

 

I'm running TAP stage 3. 99.5, but what's your engine code? AEB or ATW. ATW injectors can handle the stage 1 chips and stage 2, not stage 3. I am not sure about j31, the injectors would be my guess though. Sounds like you've got anough fues there, just deliver it via the injectors. Check them first. I don't know how aggressive the j31 fuel map is, so I can't tell you definitively.

 

aeb engine code, i think its the p 16 file not sure though

 

He only has pc-16 if he has injectors 3bar fpr, and fmic, none of which i think he has. He's 99.5 (aeb) so he can't use j31. He shouldn't be running out of fuel on his file. Again I would clear the codes because once in limp modfe it will store codes even if a cel isn't thrown. Also once reset it will also reset fuel trims and all that good adaptive stuff.

 

dude u need to fig that out on which file ur runing thats pretty important and if u r runing that file u need 310 cc injectors at 3 bar. i so bet that it is ur fuel but do what tom is sayin disconnect the ecu from its harness and disconnect the neg and let it sit for 15 min then put everything back together and take he for a drive bc if there is a real prob its just gonna throw that code immediatly
