Do you guys recall when playing video games like gran turismo 3 and NFS, you race and make money like crazy, but with that money you spend your money on little modifications. well when i was playing those games this is what i did and i ALWAYS regretted it. i figured if i saved up my money and didnt do those little modifications i could have done a big one or got a new car.

this might sound kind of stupid but i was thinking of it while i was takin a dump. Why not instead of doing a giac chip, exhaust, and shortshifter why not save my money for a little longer and do something much more worthwhile. So i sat and thought of turbo upgrades, GT28RS sounds sooo good but tooooo expensive, so i thought of the next best thing, K04 it will make my car pretty quick and i can actually keep up with and sometimes beat higher end cars that i wouldve never had a chance with just a giac and exhaust.

So i have been doing some research and im trying to figure out what parts are needed
k04 is around 700 brand new
tt 225 injectors i dont nkow how much they are, but i can get anything at VW for like 15 to 20 % off.
all the nuts and bolts and gaskets 40 bucks

now im not planning on putting an exhaust on, anytime soon, because they are waay to pricey for our cars, So what program would be best for this upgrade without an upgraded exhaust, if i absolutley need to, i will go to a muffler shop and get a custom exhasut made for the car with 2.75 inch piping.

Am i also missing anything or is this all i need?

can you guys help me out with the program i should get, and some helpful links to cheap parts and all that, if all goes well i should have this completed and on my car by the end of the year. O ya, for all those that didnt know im only 16, 17 in october, but i do pay for my car monthly and i do pay for gas and maitenance.

 

You are missing the GIAC chip for the K04 You wont get any more power from the K04 without the programming.

ok, but i was reading and it said with the audi tt injectors you would also need a fpr of 5.0 or something like that.

 

I would save up for APR's STAGE III kit which produces 345hp.

 

Thats where I'm at right now. I think I'm done w/ the mods that way I'll be able to get a new A4 sooner.

****, as of when? last i checked its only 280hp and 300 ft lb torque....where did you get your numbers?

 

Apr stage III doesnt make 345hp, thats the stage 3+, only for b6s right now.
