hi peeps

have read all the threads regarding key fob programming on this forum but still cant seem to get mine goin!! bought a key fob off ebay for my audi a4 (b6) tdi with the same fci number starting 8Z0 but when i lock the door from the outside and then press the unlock button nothing happens. the lights dont flash, nothing, nada. zilch. have checked batteries, could it be the key fob is faulty or i have the wrong matching key or summat!!

any help would be appreciated.

You don't have another fob to check to see if your central locking system is working?

 

i have the original fob that came with the car it is working fine, the central locking system is fine, but for some reason this key wont program, any ideas peeps??? pls!!

i have exactly the same problem . a4 b6 model . remote of ebay doesnt work. maybe it needs dealer with the new cars , im not sure but think so
