If you open the Keyspan serial assistant, and go to the Help tab, what
is the Firmware Version String?
Who ever has a vag-com and keyspan usb connector can you please help me out asap. Thank you

Mine says "?" But I have no problems.

Your problem has to be in the device settings.
Go to
Start
Control pannel
System
Hardware tab
Device manager
With the usb adapter plugged in, you should see it listed under "Universal serial bus controllers"
Right click it to change properties, to set the port, etc.
I never even used the keyspan adapter assistant to set anything up. I did it all in windows device settings (pretty sure) I didnt even notice it was on my start menu until now actually.
Also, in the adapter assistant program, its set to comm 1, even though in windows device settings and in vag com its setup for comm 2, and it works.
