Kid who bought my car is pissing me off.

Talked to him today, here's what we are going to do.
I keep the money and the aftermarket wheels and tires. Going to his place tomorrow to sign over the title and give him the rest of the keys.
I'm quite happy with the outcome, that is if it actaully goes through.
New question: Who's looking for some 18x8.5 HP Evos with decent rubber?

I kid i kid ,lol. Good to see its resolved. All private party used car sales are as is unless a warrenty is issued in writing. Doesn't matter if the car is 12 days old or 12 years old. Caveat emptor
Good to see it's being worked out, but that was not a very smart decision to act like a dealer; rather stupid actually. I had my best friend ask to do that with my Accord, I said no way sorry dude.
Best of luck though

Like we have said. You can't report it stolen. It will be a boguspolice report..... It just like banks when you stop paying on a loan. They dont report the car stolen as it never was. He gave him the keys and the car. He can get in a lot of trouble if he goes that way!!! You would need to report it. Before you do anything contact a lawyer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AF is not the place to get legal advice..........

wow cant believe i read that whole thing. haven't read any responses tho. if he's gona be a dick, give him a final warning. give you your 500 or you report the car stolen. you will get it back and then that will force him to take legal action. even if he does, you have the contracts so he will just be wasting his money.

Sounds like a good, workable solution, and you both get what you wanted from it, more or less - he gets the car without having to scrape up any more cash, and you get to be finished with the situation and sell your wheels/tires somewhere else. Wish you were selling them in a few months - I'd probably be up for it. I'd prefer black wheels, but those are beauties and I'd rock 'em with no hesitation.
So I went to the dudes house yesterday, signed over the title to him and we were done. He actually apologized for what he said before. Said he was really stressed out at work when he got the news. So all and all everything worked out fine, and hopefully he doesn't think I was ripping him off.
I'll figure out a price for the wheels and put them in the classefieds.
