Default L.E.D Issues

I just brought some L.E.D lights for my Audi A4 The ylook great but i have a problem. The dam dash is givng me a reading that the brake lights are out, but they are working , also i have issue with turn signal , if I put on on the left turn signal the right side back up lights lights up too, same thing if i turn right, then the left side back up light blinks. I went by the the diagram for wiring it.I will take pics and show you.. Anyone have a clue why this is? these are the lights i have.

please help me out friends, sisters and brothers.

LED's use far less power, so the computer thinks the bulbs are out. You will need to wire up some sort of resistor to trick the computer. This could be causing your reverse, turn signal problems too, but im not sure.

your going to need to install what is called a load resistor... they cost like 4-5 bucks each and they spilce right into the line thats giving you the light bulb out reading... i just posetd about my LED rear turning signals that i did a custom setup for with load resitors... they completely fixed the light bult out message... as far as your lights acting all screwy, only thing i can think of is that the wiring got mixed up somewhere in there... thats not becuase of the LED load resistor problem.... also if you do get the load resistors, they heat up light ligthbulbs, so mount them away from your car paint, anything that will catch on fire, etc.

is this a common problem for just Audi's or all cars have the same issue? I called this tuning shop to ask and the guy talking about he never heard about anything like this.

You can also buy at www.superbrightleds.com and they will have load resistors there for sale and they include what you need to splice into the lines... good luck

yea as far as i know this happens on all cars with bulbs... the leds draw too little current for it to operate correctly
