How much time should it take a professional shop to do race springs and shocks on 03 a4 qt? I used to do these myself on other cars using a lift and it did not take too long. I just had a shop tell me it would take them at least 8 hours at $105/hour. That sounded nuts to me! Not so much the rate but the time. What say you?

The time and rate are BS. 4 hours is typical if they've done it before and can get the devil bolt out. $105/hr is excessive.

 

I say RIPOFF, give the guy at the garage one of these t-shirts......

 

Got qouted 350 flat for install, and mine is a 07 and i hear its a bit more of a ***ch to put sprinig on b7's

I got quoted by 2 shops: $200 and $240.
