I'm going this weekend to tint my windows my A4, but i wanted what is the legal limit for the front??
i hate having the back extremely dark and the front ones very light...i would do the whole car based on what the legal limit would permit for the front windows, but i don;t know what the limit is..i keep seeing percentages all over the forum...
i would hate to pay 150 for the tints and 500 in tickets

you can not tint the front windows, it is not a fix it ticket any more, my buddy just got a ticket and it was all most $400. no tint on the front windows at all, I have mine tinted but it is up to you, when you see a cop roll down the windows.

 

i got away with 50% on my front windows for about a year...a few weeks ago i finally got my first ticket...it was just a fix it ticket though...i'm gonna have my tint guy remove it, get the ticket signed off, and then head straight back to the shop to have him put on 35%

when i leave for work and roll down my windows (45 degrees), i will be like THIS SH$T AINT WORTH IT

thanks a lot...but i thought you can do the front a little bit as opposed to the back
(when i got my car last week, it does have a little tint, so i guess i'll stick to this...)

if you do tint them man just to with a 35% tint all around cuz it aint to dark
