every time i turn on my head lights on my 01 a4 the gauges clustler beeps and i get a bulb with a "x" though it i have changed almost ever light on the out side of the car and the hazard switch and it still does it all the bulbs that i chaned out none where burnt out is my car just being stuipid or is it trying to drive me crazy and help would be great

Maybe one of your "Active" door reflector's. Check those out...

 

are those the lights that light up when you open the door on the bottom of the door panel?
