Default Liquid under A4, passenger side

Hi all,

Want to thank everyone who offers their help in advance. A couple weeks back, my 2004 A4 kept saying low coolant, so I popped the hood, and poured some into the reservoir. All was good for the next week (mind you, I only drive my car 2-3 times a week, for a short period of time..college student here).

Today, I turned on my car, and it started saying low coolant again..so I checked, and the reservoir on the driver side was just about empty. I backed my car out, and noticed a lot of clear liquid under my car, on the passenger side (opposite side of the reservoir). Prior to seeing this, I had thought there might be a crack in the reservoir, but given the liquid was on the passenger side, I ruled this out. The liquid was clear (dabbed it with a napkin).

Any thoughts on what might be happening here?

Thanks all!

Clear liquid sounds like the AC condensation. I think that comes out of the passenger side of the car. This is normal and your AC does run in the winter. I little odd that your would have condensation winter though.

When you field the coolant you didn't use plain water did you?

Odd indeed.

Nope, didn't use water. Super weird that the coolant is running out so fast.
