A little advice
I have a few nagging repair issues I will be addressing now that the weather has warmed a bit. I am looking for some advice so that I won't be surprised during the repairs.
I am planning on doing rear brakes and replacing the radiator. I may do the alternatorsince I will be in there (it still works but is loud. should I be concerned or let itgo?)I am just wondering if there are any parts I should plan on getting, in addition to the main components. I am mostly concerned about the radiator. I don't want to have it all torn apart and realize I need to replace this hose or that bracket, especially considering alot of Audi parts aren't readily available. Mainly, what parts would be good to replace, just to be sure the job is done right?
This is my daily driver and all repairs must be finished in one weekend. I have done alot of this work before on various cars, especially brakes and alternators. The radiator will be new to me. Any advice from someone who has been there would be helpful. Thanks in advance for any guidance you can give.

Is your radiator leaking or something? its pretty stright forward.
Are you replacing with stock RAD? If so, you wont need new hose clamps, or anything else for that matter.
Otherwise, you probably will.
Replace thermostat while you are at it, maybe coolant temp sensor as well, just to be safe, although either of these can be done fairly easily with the rad in, so not a huge concern, they could wait until they fail, if ever.
For the rear brakes, you will want to get the caliper tool to turn the cylinder while compressing it.
Other than that, just make sure you properly bleed the cooling system when you are re-filling it.

Thanks for all the advice. JohnnyBravo, I found them for as little as $180 (rebuilt Bosch), i think at getcool parts.com. As for waiting for it to crap out completely, this is my daily driver and don't want to be stranded.
I have 103,000 on the car and the TB was done at 75,000. Good to go.
