Default Locks are alive!! and going crazy on me

My confidence in Audi electricians is lost.

My locks and alarm have gone hay-wire. Locks constantly locking repeatedly very quickly and alarm armed. Key fob doesn't work, nor does the key in the door. When I turn the key the lock button pops up then back down immediately and alarm never disengages. Usually starts blaring the horn, flashers etc. What the heck is going on???? When I pull out fuse 38 (central locking) it all stops, but then I can't lock my car. Anyone have any advice?

yea.. get your central locking system scanned for codes.. you might have a bad leak of a faulty pump..

I tried disconnecting the battery and waiting a little bit. No effect.

I know the locks are vaccuum but they have no trouble pulling vac. It's definitely something electrical somewhere bcause it locks just sitting in the parking lot or drving down the road. They truely have a mind of their own and I don't know what triggers them to engage or disengage. Are there any known issues with wires breaking or circuits that common fail? I'm going to pull off the door panel and see if I can find a worn or broken wire someplace.

Where is the central locking control module so that I might inspect or replace that?
