Hi i'm looking to buy my first car. I'm 16 and I am looking at an audi 1999 A4 1.8 liter turbo with 118,000 miles. I an curious are the engines strong, About what time do they give out ? Are there any things I should look at or look for? Are these cars prone to certain repairs?

 

Ive heard that these cars are prone to the timing belt going out and the engine doesn't last that long. I have also heard about a power stage system going out? Is this true ?
