Default loose wipers

my wiper blades offset if i don't clear the heavy snow off before i turn them on. i always go under there and re calibrate it, but can never seem to torque that bolt enough so it doesn't loosen under pressure. should i try a new bolt or washer? when i have the wipers set in the right places i can't access the bolt well. ideas?

thanks yall, VT finally got a lil powder

never turn the wipers on when they are frozen this will strip the threads/splines change the complete arms

its only slipping at that 1 point. then its wiper motor problem, does it skip at the same point regardless of how tight you lock them down?? if so its the motor or worn splines either way the motor has to be replaced because its a single unit

gotcha. yeah its the same point. i'll be fine as long as i scrape the window first, no sense in replacing. do you agree that when the blades and arms are set in the right place, the bolt is very hard to access?

you have to raise the hood then undo the bolts then drop the hood to remove the wipers ( just wiggle then and thy come off ) silly idea by Audi and used by many manufactures
