Hi Guys,

Car: 2000 Audi A4 1.8T ATW engine AT transmission Front Wheel drive

I am at a total loss here. I left this car for my parents so I am not sure when this happened.

Issue: Car will jerk when shifting from Part to Reverse and then Jerk when going from Neutral to Drive. It does not shift between 1 2 3 and drive.

Also the you to get the car to almost 2000RPM till the car will move in drive. In reverse the car is a bit better.

I tried to change change the ATF fluid but that issues still exists.

 

Is the check engine light on or is it showing any codes

 

Sounds like the control module to me. Seems like I read of others having similar issues. Probably best to have someone take a look at it.

 

Yeah I also think it's your TCM cause I just had mine replaced 3 months ago and I also had the same symptoms and that's not cheap
