If you have a stock exhaust, why not just replace it completely if it is deteriorating already. It worth it in the long run as exhaust such as borla are warrantied for the lifetime of the car.

$200 is too much just for replacing the flex pipe. you can get the flex pipe like $30. I got my 3" flex pipe for $40 shipped.
