I really wanted to kick his ***, and almost did, but I figured it would be best to keep my cool and just let him, his parents, or his insurance pay out.

 

man thats sucks.. what kind of car does your friend drive? that would really **** me off if he was driving a junk.. If he also drives a nice car he really needs a punch in the face, but calling the cops thats pretty deep. That price seems steep for the damage if u dont wait to fix it I would shop around. Just remember love taps are not always stupid they do have their place..like with winter cars or when your 4 wheelin i think they are funny as *hit..

my friend's do that to each otehr but they know that if they touch my friend or my car we would kill them, so they stay away from ours.

 

I've been trying to get a hold of his parents. They apparently come home at 9PM, so I'm giving them some time to settle in... I decided that I will try and push for a cash payment, then put it towards my door/fender damage I need to repair. If not, then I will file a claim and one of two things can happen. It will either be considered a collision at his fault, or because it was intentional, it may be considered intentional vandalism in which the insurance will pay out, then because I know that he did it will pursue him for the money. If I have to use insurance, I will just get it repaired.

 

I had a similar incident last year only it wasn’t friends, some kids at school backed into my mustang in there riced out Honda civic hatch and took off when i tried to talk to them, but i had 3 witnesses with me and got the license plate.. I soon had the Mexican mafia so to speak on my a$$ at school but it was funny when they all got arrested for the accident and not having insurance and then threatening my friends and my lives. In the end they some how got insurance and they paid for all the damages

If they don't respect your things, they don't respect you. You clearly like your car a lot, and I would assume your friends know this. Regardless, he folks up your bumper.
