Yea....sounds like a lot of hard work....but its also fun at the same time so i cant complain....since all those mods will take a lot of time to complete, im thinkin maybe i'd have around 8 or 9K for it all because over the time it takes to mod the bitch, i'll still be working....but yea low 13's to high 12's would be incredible....i'll worry about how my car looks after i get it fast enough I was thinkin along the lines of:

KO4
B&M short throw
Greddy FMIC
GIAC Chip
Cat-Back Exhaust w/ downpipe
Forge DV
Boost Controller
Apexi turbo timer
Evo CAI
50 shot of NOS
ANY internal upgrades needed as well...(that's why i need help from you guys)

think that will do it? or would i need the t3/t4...

If you goals are even high 13's I wouldn't go with the ko4. It is possible to get into the very high 13's with the ko4, but that will be pusing the turbo and driver skill to the max. I also chose gt28rs over t3/t4 do to it being a ball bearing therefore is will spool much smooth. My car is smoother to drive than a chipped k03, it doesnt have that tq spike that can cause lots of damage in the corners. The t3/t4 has a very harsh power curver, it doesnt spool as gradual as the gt28rs, it takes longer to start spooling and will spool all at once. For example I think mine startes around 3000rpm and is fully spooled by 3800rpm. I;d geuss a t3/t4 will begin spooling around 3600rpm and will be fully spolled by 4100rpm (just a geuss). Also the t3/t4 can begin to make enough hp and tq that the stock motor could be in jeprody (sp?) . These motors seem to hold around 350whp before the rods begin to bend/break. I like my safe little smooth spooling gt28rs

Also I would not recommend nitrous, unless you really know exactly what you are doing

Well nitrous was only gonna be there to give me that extra puch into the low 13's...i knew the ko4 wouldnt do it itself (with out hurting the engine) but if i were to get a larger turbo like the gt28rs or the t3/t4, the nos wont even be a thought...i wouldnt need it.......

how much exactly is it for a t3/t4 kit? how bout a gt28rs??

Toms right, If you want to run low 13s all day u need a 28rs. Hes also right about the ko4 tq spikes, my spools fast but is not very smooth. Ko4 you can run high thirteens with out hurting the engine, thats not the issues, its that after about 70mpg the ko4 begins to be outflowed in the 1/4. Put a ko4 up against 28rs on the autox and the ko4 will rape it, but the 28rs is way better 1/4 car. Btw- If it were me and had the cash, i would go straight for the apr stage III, people love it and it comes with everything and you will runs 13.5s with it bolted on.

never searched or even seen this... but does anyone out there make headers for the 1.8T?
Obviously they'd be crazy expensive... but are they out there?
