Where the HELL did u find all that for so cheap.....is that peicing it together??

I kinda have a know ho when it coems to this ****....but im completely new on audis.....sure i wanna make it fast but i dont wanna blow the dam thing....this is one o hte main reasons y im on this forum, to hear u guys tell me wut i can and cant do.....id rather put my money into my car to make it faster, not to fix it.....

 

say i DO get the apr stage 3 (which only pushes 280 ponys), theres not much more i could do to make me run high 12's...it coems with everything! idk if that estimated 280 is with the downpipe and exhaust or not but i want a little over 300 b4 i'll be satisfied......sure i could add a CAI, but after i strengthen the internals a little, there goes my $$$!! lol.....$4500 for 13's isnt bad tho.......maybe i'll wait till the apr stage III+ comes out..........any ideas on when?

 

I got some rediculous deals on stuff, and had to modify alot of stuff to make it fit. Heres some examplesof some of my deals/steals:
custom built manifold:$130 I had to cut off the t3 flange and weld on a t25 flange
walbro fuel pump:$70 its a ford mustang upgrade so i modded it to fit
spearco intercooler: $500 had to butcher my bumper and weld the piping
brand new gt28rs .86a/r : $900
Programming: $90
vr6 maf housing :$20

SO yea thats how. Oh I also made some stuff like my downpipe for $25

 

Dude get the apr stage III, you will not be disipointing. I was talking to a b6er who a tuned setup like this and rapes m3s with no problem.

 

so wut ur sayin is that ur $7k went a LOT farther than mine will...........may i ask how u got that **** done? just connections?? thats pretty nasty........

reply to other post: Im sry, didnt realize that the apr stage 3 doesnt include a chip..........would u recommend i get the apr chip to go along wit hte apr stage III upgrade?? brand names work better together, correct...?

 

If you know what ur looking for and wait long enough you will find these deals, but u may be waiting a while. First, what are you going to be doing in the car?, you obvisously want to go fast, are you going to autox it? or 1/4. Again, the 28rs will rape a Tuned ko4 after 65 70mph, a Tuned ko4 will rape a 28rs in autox. But it seems your looking for 1/4, so the apr stage III would be the best. Also, dahlback has a pretty crazy kit out that they use a modded ko4 and make well over the apr stage III. Im thinking they made 360hp with their whole kit. Dont quote me on it tho.

 

I would...and i prolly would....im jus a little skeptical that i might run outta cash before everyhting is complete...

think about it....

7 grand for apr stage III upgrade, fmic(dont think its included in the stage III), apr chip(not included),exhaust,downpipe,DV,short throw,boost guage,boost controller,turbo timer,internal upgrades to handle power, and not to mention all the $$ needed for installation.........ill be WAY over my head....agreed??

 

I'm pretty sure apr stage 3 does come with a chip

I got the manifold, fuel pump, vr6 maf off the classifieds, I got the turbo from a garrett dealer, it was his last one at that price, the program was atp;s beta which they stopped selling 2 weeks ago. Everything required a little modding except the programming.
