Default low boost

i just noticed today that my car isnt responding like it used to. i use to run about 15 pounds of boost and spiked at 16-17 with a chip, dv and n75...but today its only running at around 4 or 5. im assuming its a boost leak but i popped the hood and the turbo was smoking. any help would be great

haha.. why dont you ask your urologist..?
Get your car scanned for fault codes at autozone or someplace like that.. They should do it for free.

just disconnect your negative terminal on the batter with the car off for about 30 seconds and u will be out of limp mode if that is the problem. dont take you car to the dealership yet try this first. if you take your car there they will charge you 110 bucks to do what auto zone would do for free. and u cannot borrow anything from them with out giving up you verginity and both legs

If you are going to disconnect your battery, make sure you have the radio unlock code.

You have either gone into limp mode, have a vacuum leak, a bad diverter valve, or a stuck wastegate.
