The 1137 code you have is for long term fuel trim rich/lean condition, it is caused by the o2 sensor before the cat.

I'm looking how to trouble shot it but I haven't come across anything yet but definatly check all you vacume lines for splits and cracks. I replaced 4 bad lines last summer! My buddy that works at a local garage said to spray somthing around the lines while the cars running to see if the idle improves.I think he said WD-40, That will close up the splits in the lines if you have a vacume leak and change the idle.

I've heard both in the right ups here and other forums. The print out I have hear from the dealer event says to check the O2 sensor behind the cat.

The o2 sensor behind the cat only makes sure the cat is working. You need a new o2 before the cat. Poor gas mileage and the code both point to the first o2 sesnor.

The print out I have hear from the dealer event says to check the O2 sensor behind the cat.
They may be recomending to check the o2 after the cat because if you ran rich long enough or it ran rich enough the cat could have been damaged but if you did you would have other codes.

Ok thanks alot and I have been driving the car awhile with these codes P1137 and the other one was p0107 or P0102.Do you think I damaged the cat and the O2 behind the cat?

The 0102 MAF sensor low circuit imput is most likelyfor a dirty MAF sensor which may need replaced, and the 0107 map sensor low circuit input whichmost likely needs replaced also. Both codes are probably being caused by the oil from the K&N filter. A MAF sensor heats up at shutdown to burn off contaminents so it may not be cleanable but is worth a shot, I have never heard of anyone cleaning a MAP sensor but it may be possible. At work we just replace them. Most likely the code you have is the 0102. The long term fuel trim code can be caused by a dirty MAF sensor when there is a code for a MAF problem.

Ok I just check and my two codes are P1137 & P0102 and I've replaced my MAF but still get the same codes. So I guess my next step would be O2 do you know where to get one at a good price?

If you replaced the MAF, cleared the code and still have it coming back there is an issue with the MAF still. It could be dirty already from the oil in the K&N or it could have been a bad MAF sensor to begin with. The long term fuel trim needs time to correct itself because it is the overall rich/lean mixture taken over long periods of time. I would try to clean the MAF or if you bought a cheap one off ebay or something get a new one. Most likely it is just dirty from the oil. I explained how a MAF works in my second post on this page.....

https://www.audiforums.com/m_438397/mpage_8/key_/tm.htm

It may not be possible to clean if the burn off can get it cleaned.

I don't think its a dirty MAF sensor I do have a K&N filter. I Cleaned my first MAF sensor with eletronic cleaner and used less oil on the filter and cleaned out the air box. After I switched out the new MAF I checked it to make sure it was clean.I did buy the part from rock auto and it could be bad I looked at all the right ups awile ago and there where warning about going cheaper.*Do you think I should try O2 or MAF first or both?
