Maintenance suggestions.
As mentioned in one of my other posts, I have a 2000 A4 with 145k miles (about 80% are highway miles). Are there any suggestions to keep the car running for a long time (say another 150k miles). I get the regular servicing done, but thats about it. Also, can someone give me some suggestions on cleaning products (mainly the exterior). I dont know much about the inner working of cars and what is good, all I know is Audi makes great cars. The other day my colleague who drive a BMW told me to use STP fuel injector and said that it really helps. So any tips and suggestions, please let me know.

as far as autozone type stuff to add to your engine. i wouldn't bother. most of it is garbage and you'll just end up wasting money. im sure there are a few exceptions but, like i said, i just dont even bother. scheduled maintenance is enough IMO

If you have a 1.8t, use synthetic engine oil ,like Mobil 1 0W-40.
With the 1.8t, use the large oil filter, Mann W940/25.
Search this forum for Seafoam. It's much stronger than STP fuel cleaner,
and can be added to the crankcase before an oil change.

Lucas oil injector cleaner every 15-20k
seafoam crankcase once, intake once, good for a long time (like another 50-75k)
Regular maintanence and your good to go.
Give her some love, she'll love you back.
