If youre going to mod it get a 97-99.5. Even if its just achip. As we all know, 99.5 is ideal because it has the 00/01 looks, its dbc, and doesnt have tatle tale features that will putyou into limp mode if you happen to overboost 2 or so psi for example. I assume you got a 1.8t because you want to go faster. A chip will bring you just over stock 2.8 power. I would hope that since you went to the trouble of swapping, that you have bigger plans than a chip...?

Yes, I do have bigger plans then just chipping. I want too ugrade to the k04 turbo exhaust excedra.
Yeah, sorry, I didnt read that last part of your post.

What color are you getting?? Once you go black you never turn back......

Black for sure! I used to own a 2003 black s10 extreme it was so hard to keep clean. But when it was all polished up and clean she looked good. Black is such a nice looking color. 2nd choice would be red but we all know those nasty pig's like to pull red car's over because they "look like there going faster then they really are" is there ne science behind this lol? friken pig's hate them! sorry i didnt mean to start talking about pig's. But yes black will be the color of choice. Now just to find one.

Black, bay-bee!

The biggest annoyance is having to wait to drive it for over an hour after I wash it. If I don't wait, water gets blown out of the moldings and especially out of the side mirrors. The long, streaky watermarks are hideous and annoying, and I carry a microfiber cloth in my trunk for the occasional streak after the first post-wash drive.

Having black leather interior is grueling some days here in southern California. The sunroof is my "Emergency Heat Release Valve" during mid-day travels.

Sorry bud. Already have a navy blue 2.8. Dont like it to much. BLACK or PEARL WHITE will be the colors of choice.
