So in my quest to find a nice B5 1.8 I've noticed that all of the ones I find have manual adjusting seats. Not one of the 5 or so I've looked at have a fully electronic adjustable seat. For one of them I figured with it being a lower end interior but I looked at one that had every single option except for the seats? Did the 1.8's only come with manual seats?

The other thing I wondered, they haven't seemed to have the 6 disc CD changer either. I know that the S4 had that but none of the 1.8's have had it. Is this something I should expect to just have to pay extra to get an OEM one?

I'm pretty sure only the 2.8's have electronic adjustable seats. My 1.8T does have a 6 disc cd changer though.

 

2.8 were the only one's with power seats. Audi didnt want to give the wonderful 1.8 everything they still needed to sell the 2.8.

 

Hmm, so no dice on the power seats. Good enough. Makes me feel better now that I know I'm not going to find any. How hard do you think it would be to swap in some from a 2.8?

 

I can't imagine it's that difficult to switch seats if you know a little bit about what you're doing. However give the manual seats a try I love mine!!!

 

Yeah, manual seats aren't that bad. Just get 'em in the right position and leave it like that!

 

Also if you're looking for a stock cd changer i'm selling mine. Just put in a In Dash Monitor unit so the cd changer has gotta go. All mounting hardware is included.
