so i have a 2.8 manual tranny in my 1.8 and i want a short throw shifter for it... this might sound stupid but are there any differences in the short throws for them... i'm assuming i would order one that fits a 2.8 trans but i was wondering if it mattered basically. should be an easy answer. thanks in advance

Hey fastera4thanurs, how do you like the 2.8 tanny??? I have been looking into getting one when I build the engine.

 

the $20 ebay stuff does the same job as the $200 B&M stuff.

 

^but not the same as the JHM stuff
