The headlight assemblies on ebay generally do not come with HID kits. You will need to buy one separately. Also, some of the ebay headlights aren't compatible with HIDs, so verify that they are before you buy.

Those dual halo projectors are just replacement headlights themselves. They don't have bulbs in them at all - you'd remove your OEM headlights and install them. If you want them and want to add HIDs, you'd have to order the HIDs separately. If you are considering those eBay halo lights, be warned that quite a few people have had water leakage inside them and have not been happy with them overall (many of them also warn you not to use HIDs in them, so watch for that in their ads). You would be better off with either Ecodes (which may still be on backorder), OEM 99.5+ projector housings, or something along those lines. Since you have a 98, your low beams (with halogen) probably suck for output (mine did) - order an HID kit for them and it'll give you much more visibility. Later on, you can always upgrade the headlights themselves and use the HIDs in your new headlights too.

I didn't see any B5 headlight assemblies on the above website, but if you're going aftermarket anyway, go to eBay. Unless, of course, you've got around $600 for new headlights.

Leave the halo's from BMWs. It is completely tacky to put them on another branded car. Just get an HID kit and be done.

Alright I wasnt lookin on ebay cuz usually people tryin to sell chinese crap thatdoesnt last,a web site called slickcar.com had a housing that didnt look bad(ididnt know halo was bmw stuff). My friend told me to find ecode or a original european audi headlight but if I can just use a 99.5 then I will and get bulbs. I just want to avoid putting good bulbs in my stock headlights cuz they look outdated the casings are too old style...
