Im buying a MBC tonight. Should I have them install it for 30 bucks or should I just do it myself? How easy is it? I have done everything on my car myself but I know very little about MBCs. I have also heard if they arnt installed correctly serious problems can occur.

Guess I'm still a newb.

 

Without a serious turbo upgrade I didn't think our cars had any use for a MBC. The computer along with our N75 valve(? Someone tell me what this is) controlls our boost. Sorry if I'm completely wrong but I think this is what I read on the Zine.

 

I personally wouldn't do it at all. My roommate tried putting one on his TT stealth and he gained maybe 2-3 lbs of boost. Just save your money and chip it. I don't think that can be said enough.

 

I think he is chipped APR with a 710N DV.

 

Yeah, I wouldnt add a boost controller if you're chipped...

Well, I'd never add one, but that's just me... and lots of other people on this forum...
