MBC WITH CHIP QUESTION?

Would using a MBC with the apr chip and setting the mbc to 18psi, which is what im getting from the chip right now, help with surging? or would it be a complete waste of money?

ya an mbc will help reduce surging. So will an N75 H or N75 J valve.
