Yeah Id take care of the fmic situation before tossing the mbc.

 

i might just buy the smic hoses from the dealer put that back in. sell my fmic and then make another one for the time being.

 

you should be fine if you just have the turbo to incooler pipes made smaller. There is a kit for the gti/jetta and it uses 2" to the ic and then a large ic and then 2.75" piping to the tb. The kit only has about 1psi drop altogether.

I would go 2" to ic instead of buying and selling stuff. But thats just me
