lol mines real close to that, reallllly close. except i have stupid annoying sounds as well since my abs module is broken and the abs / break light is on and i have service inspection light on, omg its so ANNOYING!!

 

I hate to sound like Mr. Sensible (I'm not -I'm Mr. Flippant, and I usually laugh at Mr. Sensible), but I feel compelled to say that you should probably get that ABS issue taken care of ASAP.

 

yep, i'm trying to. that damn mechanic guy said he was going to charge me 1,000 to fix it, then he said 500 after my mom talked to him, and i find abs computer module online for really cheap. i'll probally just buy it online and get him to install it for cheap or something. anyone know the # for the 1998 a4 1.8t fwd abs computer module? i don't know what version there is, i could probally find one from someone parting out or something.

 

You have to look at the last letter of the serial number on your ABS module and any other module that matches the last letter will work in your car. I just went through this same thing and I recommend sending your module out to have it rebuilt that way you don't have to pay anyone to install it.

 

you say ABS and break light? do the break lights work because a blown bulb effects the system its all linked just a thought

 

so i have the brake light flashing and have the ABS light on.. i also have the stupid aletzzas tail lights do you think they have something to do with it? they had to have a different bulb setup to make them work. i would put the stock tails in but i dont have the right harness for the tailights to make them work. does someone have a pic of what the back of the stock tails wiring looks like so i could get the right harness????

 

blubs have blown before, i changed them already, i just didn't change two of them because i have no idea what number light bulb to use for the very top ones. one of my reverse lights blew but i changed them already.
