Default Modding my B6

Hi All

im a newbie, ive searched past comments and i cant see anything on this so forgive me for repitition please,

I hope you dont mind me asking a question or two. I have an 02 A4 Quattro Sport 1.8T in Denim Blue. Ive had it for 18months and im now looking to blow a whole load of cash on it to keep me from upgrading and spending far far too much money on a new car..3.2 QS A3 or 350Z or c30 T5 SE Sport.... im going to wait a couple of years i think

Im not sure if this is predom a US forum or UK or mixed etc so could someone please let me me know who im directing the Questions too?

to UK readers i suppose: Ive read that AMD are having issues?? and i was about to buy some 18" Sportec Alloys off them along with a stage 1 Chip. Are they losing the ability to remap or is it just that they arent as good to deal with anymore?

I also know of a RVEO dealer near me in Cheshire. Should i consider using these instead? Anybody had the remap from Revo?

ALSO Im currently experiencing computer issues - ghost oil lights on the dash but noe engine or oil problems (since full service and still the light pops up when i drive the car a little harder...) Also i have had a random stall once only? have you come across this before?

Its booked into Audi for a check but im hoping that if i take it to get remapped that can all be looked at there and then, saves me shelling out audi labour and then again for the remap,

your advice would be appreciated

cheers

It is highly recommended to use Revo for B6's, I'd definitly look into that dealer, get prices etc... Now with a chip you will need to upgrade your Diverter Valve which will run you 35$ to 135$ depending on brand etc etc...
