Moonroof opens and closes while driving
I have an 03' Audi A4 1.8T with a moonroof. While I'm driving sometimes the moonroof will open up (back tilts up) and then close. Its really weird and scared me the first time. Is it suppose to be doing that?

Yes it is the new Audi fart detector (AFD). When the mechanism detects a foul odor, it automatically opens the sunroof to let the offending gas escape.

actually the write up only works for cars with 2 way rotary switch... This write up does not work for 01's and up as as I know...So i doubt it will work with a 03.. I tried it yesterday when I was fixing my map light rattle... My 12 *****... 12in type r in a custom box slot port tuned to 37 hz im lovin it
