MP3 Your Car - Functional with Stelite Radio?
Hey guys,
I've been having horrible luck with the CD players that come with the A4. I had a 2005 B6 A4 and the CD player wouldn't play any burned CD's, and now I have a 2007 A4 (no Navigation) and the stereo just suddenly stopped recognizing MP3 CD's (after 9 months of flawless playback).
Anyway, I've been doing a lot of research of MP3 integration kits for my A4, but the one thing I've kept coming across is that almost all of them would disengage my satelite radio (including Audi's factory installed iPod integration kit). I came across MP3yourcar.com, and it appears they have an integration kit for $200 that will not disengage the satelite radio, but I was curious if anyone here has used it and can confirm that it works fine with satelite radio enabled stereo's?
Also, it was unclear how they planned on mounting the iPod within the car, and I was hoping someone could offer insight into that as well. Audi's factory installation of the iPod adapter forces you to leave the iPod in the glovebox (which I want to avoid), so I was hoping the MP3yourcar device has other alternatives.
Any help you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

i recently bought a blitzsafe adapter that connects to the backof the stock radio. it tricks the radio into being an external 6cd changer. I now have direct connection from my ipod, best way to get audio. it also charges it at the same time. However, you have to control the iPod through the iPod itself.
