i got my friends gator grip socket, i try tommorow and let u ***** know how it worked. as for the oil filter i got one from my friend and i dont see it being a prob anymore. im gonna try to pick up a new plug at a oil change place tommorow

 

if u cant get the oil filter off with a wrench u have a prob. r u using a wrench? if not and u dont have one use a belt that works wonders, wrap it around so when u tug it tightens and that should do the trick. as for the plug like everyone else reccomends craftsman makes a great kit for removing stripped bolts. it u have vice grips try those, the bolt is already chewed up and that wont hurt.

 

Make sure you have the correct oil filters. Use a good OEM filter, es the larger Mann filter.

 

yea i picked up a few mann fiulters last time my ride was in shop. in my last post i meant to say i dont see the filter being a prob once i get my buddies oil filter wrench.

 

to take the tight oil filter off i used my leather belt... put it on like it was a waist making sure the direction your twisting is the direction that makes the belt tighter then wrap the remainder around the filter and pull it'll twist off... gotta love redneck tech.

 

i use to change my oil myself, but it was a pain, so now i bring it the jiffy lube. haha surprizingly the lube does a pretty good job.
