i don't tend to race, cause there are not too many cars are worth it and such, but come on over and i will rev and drop the clutch while you brake boost and we will see who wins

i understand that it will do damage, as i stated when i told him about it in my previous post..... but brake boosting, sounds to me like you stomp on the brakes.... lol

but yes like sean said, get the stuff out then reinstall since it will be temp you deff don't need a pipe

and if you have a welder, cut that ish open and re-weld it back on, or some people put a straight pipe with the heatshield attached on so it looks like a cat, and maybe that is what they mean? or instead of gutting it? but the crazy angles and stuff that would be difficult

 

WOW thats harsh!
i pull 9 seconds in a 0-60mph run! and thats in a 2.8L 12v FWD AT with just a full KnN CAI, no other engine mods like chips or exhausts or anything!!
and im going uphill!!
and i only pull 11 seconds when my car is in limp mode.
hope you get yours sorted out sooner or later!!

ha, i brake boosted to 15psi in my buddy's evo tonight and smoked a vette. if you know how to do it, it's fine.

i dont understnad how are so many people running such slow times? my setup runs me 0-60 in about 6.5 or dead even with a 06+ GTI. 9 second 0-60 thats just insane[X(]

 

I have a hard time believing that all you have is an exhaust and a chip and you have a 6 and a half second 0-60.

 

I run between 6.5-7 sec with just chip and exhaust.......need a great launch though, otherwise in the 8 sec range

 

oh forgot to mention....i do have some decals, so that also makes me a second faster to 60

 

alias, that is with apr 91 oct cone filter and 2.5 in exhaust from the flex pipe back and stratosphere dv..... you know jentz, the guy you play games online with, he has the black gti in stl, he was in the car with me and i was carring another guy so 3 of us..... weighing in at about 550lbs.. here again is my 0-60

well actually i dont just have a chip and exhaust. i have those plus intake dp dv dts. also thats under optimal conditons like a nice cool - semi cool day. but hey what can i say i guess my car runs alright and yours runs like ****. ( have u checked any of you hoses or any of that **** to make shure there is no leaks. also the dv and wastegate)
