My 450/4 is finally in... jeebus!
i had feedback probs in my jeep and i bought all new monster cable RCAs and that got rid of it 100%, what brand are your cablers? well in any case cables that expensive shouldnt wine. hmmmmmmm, yea, something must be crimped. if the feedback is real bad maybe the wire is partially cut. if they installed it for you they should replace the wires for free if they are messed up. if the prob cant be solved all i can reccomend to you is to use monster, they worked great for me.
also wires that are too long can cause feedback. just a thought.

These are them: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/pro...s_id/3133.html
and yeah, if one is crimped I'll try and get free ones... the stereo shop owner is my neighbor, so I don't want to be a dick about it -- they always help me out.

Try your grounds, make sure you have good contact between the connector and the chassis. Also, try grounding out your RCAs (take a piece of wire and wrap around the outside of the rcas and gound them to the vehicle chassis). The RCAs on left and Power on right is somewhat of a myth from way back when..
try this as well, with your car running, pull the rcas out so that only the inner portion is still in the jack, does it get louder? If so, try running a RCA over the seats from HU to amp. if it's still there, then you got someother issues.
Also, unplug the RCAs from the radio, do you still hear a whine, if so then there's either a ground issue or your amps might be bad (problem when you buy from eghei, no warranty)..
I like the HU matching the factory dash lights, nice touch...

I think I MAY have found the issue... the RCA's were coiled up and one was sorta pushed up the back of the seat, so one of the "coils" was right up at the connectors almost... I moved them back under the seat, and no feedback as of yet.
It was somewhat intermittant though ... like, 95% of the time it was there, but sometimes it wasnt. Let's hope I am not in that rare 5% right now.
