my a4 vs. 00' gti vr6
Didn't think about it that way. I raced a Civic and smoked him because he lost too much traction on the start because of FWD, I figured it would be the same concept. Hell, the start is everything, once you hit 3rd you're gone.
Hey railslider, I think you beat the civic because stock civics are slow, lol.

Hey, kinda on topic, is the 2000 VR6 the 12v model or the 24v?
I killed a 12v VR6 A3 GTI one time. I talked to him at a previous stoplight, asked him if it was a VR6, he asked if I was chipped (I'm stock). I did it just for fun thinking I would lose because he looked fast (body kit, loud exhaust). Turned out to be a ricer and I pulled on him right after the launch. He spun his tires and smoked up so much I made up for the 3400 pound car.

you would lose. I have raced gti's in my old integra gsr and have almost lost to gti's. My integra was a high 14 sec car. A chipped a4 would most likely lose to the gti. I know a chipped quattro would get worked...until they hit some rain...lol.
