It just went hot...so I turned the fan speed up and it started to cool off. Once the car was nice and cool it started blowing hot again and didnt come back on after that.

What do you guys think? I was driving the car fast with the a/c on, do you think the engine heated up to much and turned off the a/c compressor because it was to hot? I just had the high a/c line replaced about 6 or 7 months again and its been working great ever since. Now today it just totally crapped out on me.

 

probably just needs re-gassing fault is common when its getting low on gas

 

The tank is full of gas....or do you mean low on a/c gas? or freon or whatever it takes to fill the a/c up....

 

LOL! It needs AC gas or a "recharge" of R134-A. Maybne you have a leak too, so get that checked out.

 

You can buy a can of R134a for $25 that includes lubricant, stop leak and a pressure guage at WalMart.

 

hehe this word "gas" can be confusing especially over the pond because you call your fuel for the car gas, we call it petrol so not to confuse

 

haha...I kind of figured you were talking about an a/c recharge....hopefully thats all it is...

 

my AC confuses me. yesterday while coming back from bear mountain, i turned it on and it got pretty cold pretty quickly. but normally when i turn it on it's luke warm forever...

Bro every car I have ever owned has had some sort of a/c problem, I was happy and hoping the A4s a/c would run strong forever! aaaah if only this was a perfect world with perfect weather....Florida is a killer on the a/c systems....
