Yep, me and the lady were cruising the other day and she remarked that my DV sounds like a sneeze. I shifted up into fourth, boosted hard and lifted, and sure enough, my stock little DV sounded like a sneeze! Now I feel all sorts of emasculated (it's bad enough with my Miata, and now this!) So, my question is, what is the most manly, and by manly I mean loudest, DV I can get? I plan on doing my valve cover gastket fairly soon, so I might as well change my DV out while I'm at it.

 

dont tell me you have a APR R1!!!! mine drove me insane!they do that when they fail and some do it all the time... pick up a 710n if you are low on $$$

really the 007 is quiet? i wanted sumptin w/ a little noise, but i guess its good if its quiet too, easier to make money if ppl think the car is running less boost then it is

 

Ya it's pretty quiet. I've only heard it a handful of times.If you want some noise you should get the 004.

 

first off, you will barely here any dv if you have the stock intake, and second, you should put the duck call mod on and then see how manly your car sounds.

 

First off, I already hear my stock DV on my stock airbox. Second, I don't run a BOV, so the duck call mod won't work.

 

yea notice how i said barely... people on the street turn their heads when i shift, and i only have a k04, never happened before i had the cai and just had the dv and chip. and the duck call comment was a joke...
