Wow, I feel dumb. My 99' A4 has the sport package and I didn't even know it. The 00' sports, if I'm not mistaken, had body colored lowers, and an OEM spoiler along with being lower and having the sport rims. I was looking at the model library though on Audiusa.com and realized my car has the sport rims for 99' (16" 7-spokes) and the sport steering wheel. So anyway, that was a good little piece of info to know about my own car. Just thought I'd share.

 

Umm, 2000 sports didnt have body coloured lowers... the steering wheel doesnt mean anything either

Check your shocks... are they red? Red = sports pkg.

 

I drove a 00' A4 sport with body colored lowers. Maybe they had them painted? Audiusa.com, says the sports came with a Leather-wrapped 3-spoke sport steering wheel. I looked though and it doesn't say anything about the 2000 having the spoiler or the painted lowers so I guess these were added to the one I drove. Those two things will definetely be an addition to mine, that car was fine!!!

and your saying the lowers were painted? Yeah, if it was a b5 A4, with painted lowers... it wasnt stock. S4's have painted lowers though.

And yes, having sport does mean you have the 3 spoke wheel... but having the 3 spoke wheel, does not mean you have sport.

Check the colour of the shocks. That is the one way to be 100% sure.
