sounds like a possible boost leak...you should make the 10 tester, i am unfamiliar with the 1.8 engine and what the possible leak issues are, do you have a boost gauge?

 

my inlet hose into the airbox was barely on, and it wasnt sinched down. also the air compartment next to the air box (drawn in from outside) was filled with crap. i changed the air filter and tightened everything up. i wonder if that had anything to do with the car running rich.

 

Clear the codes, and see if they return.

 

so far so good, i cleared them 2 days ago, and they have yet to return. we'll see.

 

If they don't return you're good.

 

what is the 10 tester?

 

i was clear for 200 miles, my light came on today...ill find out what codes they are this time and post them.

 

only p1136 this time...what could be causing it?
