My day at the dealership
So..i took my A4 in for oil and an inspection this morning. I get to the dealership...and of course the garage is like 20min. down the road..so..that was adventure #1. I get to the garage...give and pull into the garage. It was nearly orgasmic...They just so happen to be an Audi/Porsche/Lotus dealership too..soo..there were Elises new A4's and a few Carerras sitting there...i almost fainted...it was sick. So whatever..after i managed to pull myself together i go hang out in the waiting area and one of the guys comes over and tries to make my buy new rear pads and service cuz "i may not pass inspection"...so i was like..unless it gonna make me fail...you aint doing anyhting...so..yea..they're fine...so i wsa an attempt at a being taken. So..yea..thats my story...They wanted $50 for pads and $100 for labor. Oh..and i asked what the deal was with the dome light / back door..he said it could be anyhting and that it b another 100 to check it out and fix it...fugghetabout it

My antenna was stolen at one point. When I called the dealer to schedule an inspection I asked how much a new one is. The tech on the phone tried to tell me the antenna is in the rear windshield on my car. I told the tech she was mistaken and that I had a missing antenna and wanted to know how much one is. After I tired of arguing with her I dropped it and took the car in. A couple days after the inspection, I looked at the bill and those fuggers charged me 85 bucks to troubleshoot my radio reception problem. Their analysis......a missing antenna.
I was pissed as hell, but calmly called and told explained the scenario. The service manager was refusing to refund the money saying they removed the radio and did all kinds of diagnostics on it (nice troubleshooting skills). After 5 min of back and forth I was beginning to lose my cool and the situation escalated a bit. When I asked to speak with his boss he said he would give me my money back and told me to take the car to whatever McDonalds I bought it from.
I was absolutely dumbfounded at what a ***** the guy was. It was the last time I took my car to a dealer.
