the only vehicles that should have automatic transmission are vans and trucks /suv's

while we are on the topic of gear shifting, i always thought i shorted shifted (2500) guess im not the only one.

I shift with the sound. Which normally turn out to be btw 4000-5000.

that must be hard, I usually shift with my right hand, and if that is tied up i'll make the difficult left hand gear shift...

When Im leaving in the morning...and im crusin through my neighborhood in 2nd with rpm's at like 4000 it doesnt sound pleaseing to me, especially if i kick it down to 3rd and thers like high 2000's, just doesnt sounds right for an audi, maybe it's caus it's a 4 banger? what do you think jestnomen? anybody?
dont have time to read all the posts so i don't know if anyone else has said this..

but when you leave in the morning that is a terrible habbit.. stay off of boost until your oil temp is in the 150+ degree range

i will never drive a manual car as a daily driver...in new york it's just a terrible idea.

Thanks for the info Sean 1.8T... I tend to push it to 5k right off the bat coming out of the neigborhood, now I know!

And unless you live in heavy traffic Ex: *Los Angeles/New York* Learn to drive stick, Auto is the girliest thing ever unless your in a truck/van/SUV. PLEASE BELEIVE.

Stick is a whole new experience and id rather off myself than ever drive Auto again!
