Default My ever continuing problem

As some people know, ive been dealing with my ko4 problem forever, or atleast since its been in. Since january i believe, but ive been working on dealing with the constant misfires at full boost. This happens constatnly, and yet every once in a while i can hit full boost and it wont misfire at all. Maybe its temperature or something else but im looking into getting the car tested for a boost leak. But the fact is that at times it will slowly leak from full boost and otther times it will hold. Just last night i got on the throttle, hit about 18psi in 2nd 20-22 in third and then a little past 25 in 4th. Now i know i can hit 25-27psi in ever gear at times but it can be inconsistent. And about onceevery 2 weeks i get the epc light come on and i have to turn the car off, orlike 2 nights ago , misfires and a flashingcheck engine light. What bugs me the most is that when i upgraded from the ko3 to the ko4 all i did was install the awe kit and new software. Granted my previous softwar sucked ballz, it didnt have any run problems, ever. I dont see how anything would fail in the couple of days that it took for me to install the ko4, that would make it run like it does.
So would i be safe in saying that it could be the tunning?? I for some reason had to buy the 3 file setup because they didnt have the program for my vin #. I know ive been told to check this and that by many members here, but i think i honestly can narrow it down to the giac software. I would love some advice, thank you.

Yah, but ko4 doesnt move as much air as a big turbo, but i know i dont have to tell jeff that (40 psi). Im not worried about the boost, just the misfires, it honestly has made me hate the car.

Take it back to your tuner and have him check it out. 27 psi is a lot of boost, either there is something wrong with your gauge or your wastegate.

Have you checked your sparkplugs?

Get someone with a vagcom and do some logging.
