The N75 Race Valve has entered the building (err, uhh -- engine compartment).
Anyway, after dicking around with those damn hose clamps a bit too long, I finally got the N75 race valve in. I don't know that it's quite like "re-chipping" the car as I read one guy say, but it is a nice bit of improvement. You really can feel it pull longer and sooner -- even helps negate some of that slow start syndrome associated with the tiptronic tranny. Good stuff!!!
And another thing -- the turbo and manifold sure did get to be a beautiful shade of orange-red after the test drive. LOL!

that's the bullshit kiddie seat stuff you have to put into your car when your an old man! enjoy these young single days fellas! LOL!
i dunno on my car it was a complete change much better but then i also have a few more mods than you so it might have been more noticable
Don't get me wrong, I'm not at all disappointed with the upgrade and it was definately worth the $80 and the busted knuckles. I just don't think it was as noticable a difference as when it got chipped. Me do likey!!!
I also discovered that the Evaporative Emission Check Valve was completely shot (as in broken and can be seen through) and I've read that that can cause an engine to run rich, which may be part of why things don't seem more peachy. Hopefully the stealership will have that part in stock this AM.
