i know that this question has poped up before but i just want to be sure before i get one i have a 2001 a4 quartto with the awm engine code with a chip (unknown brand) and i would like to us a n75 valve from ecs tunning but they say it might work or it might not i would like some feed back on any other users that have a 2000 or 2001 with a n75 valve and which one are you using i understand that there are 2-3 different ones

what will it do if it doesn't work?
will it harm my turbo or any others parts?
how will i know if it is not the right one for my car?

It works for my unchipped 01 A4. But it's just like they said. some people have issues with it some don't. It won't harm your turbo or anything, but it might cause you to go into limp mode sometimes.

 

I think ECS sells the N75 N valve if you dont want something so harsh go for the N75 J valve should see good boost and no harsh spikes in boost.

 

now here's the real question where do you get the J valve... I've searched pretty much everywhere... dealer said no to me...

tried buying it used.... anyone know a site online that sells them cheap?

I ordered the race from ecs so if i find the J i will return that... do they accept returns?

 

Have a read of this thread it give info on both and where to get them but if you just phone the dealer and quote the part number they should order it never heard of them refusing.
