I am pretty sure this is my fuel filter though I am not sure.
This is under the car near gas tank.... rear passenger side of the car.

Also is it very hard to change.... my car has 115+k miles on it and I'm not sure the last time this was changed.

I know how to change the oil and what not so that is around my skill level.

Fuel filter - $15-20 at your local parts place. Takes about an hour to change... I had to cut the strap around it.

 

Bullshit that the fuel filter - thats the factory NOS system

- make sure you get new washers when you replace it.

 

Yeah I went to replace that and couldn't get the thing out!!! I couldn't loosen up the clamp that holds it in. How do you do that???

My wix filter came with new crush washers.

Just cut the plastic clamp around it and use a zip tie. You also have to drop the tank slightly.

 

The B5 design is crap compared to the B6, took me 5 min and other people with B5 take about an hour.

 

Most def. your fuel filter... It filters your fuel

 

fuel filter it is so use a spanner to lock the inner as pointed out the release the bolt
