I need a connecting rod for a 3.0L, 2002 A4, possibly a piston. The Dealer only wants to sell them as a set and I only need one. NEW or USED I don't care. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

first off whats the problem?? is it just a bottom end knock then crank shaft bearings will do and not a big job

 

NO NO NO. It is a bent rod, already have the engine torn down.

 

cant help you there mate im in the UK, has it done any damage to the cylinder walls??

ronstotal, youre going to have a real hard time finding what you need. I would call around to another dealer to see if you can get the rod/piston individualy, if not, this is going to be your best bet: http://www.shokan.com/
