I'm new on here.. i have an 2002 Audi a4... its reached that age were i guess everything is going wrong.. first my key broke off the fob were its welded?.. so i ordered 2 key fobs from eBay. i had them cut and they will start the car but it turns off after about 40 seconds. i have tried everything programming suggestion i found.. and have spent a few hours researching other tips, but nothing has worked. and even put the new key on the original key fob remote but won't let the key keep running, but the remote works.. any ideas? not only is the dealership to expensive, but its over an hour away. they said if the keys i bought won't program, i have to order a key from them which takes 2 days then go back to get it programmed. any thoughts?
also i don't know it this is related but my front windows wouldn't go back up since the key broke, and my driver side door buttons aren't working often, and my window buttons aren't working at all. any ideal of help is appreciated
