Need help with CEL and tranny code on B6
Thanks. Good thing it's still under warranty. You wouldn't have access to ETKA would you? I have files for my passat, but not my A4. I need to find a LR outside door handle and titanium colored armrest cover. The handle fell off somewhere and the latch on the armrest cover broke.
warranty is best
as for the handle it should also be covered because if the door is closed it cant fall of because its bolted from inside the door jam,
just a hint on how to remove the harness from the tranny
Removing and installing oil pan, ATF screen and valve bodyRemoving and installing wiring harness in gearbox
Removing
‒Remove valve body => Page 38-13.
‒→ Use small screwdriver to lever out retaining lugs of connectors at solenoid valves and unplug connectors -A- one by one.
‒Detach the wiring harness from the side retaining lugs -B- of the valve body. [/ul]
‒→ Turn valve body onto back and unplug connector at gearbox input speed sender -1-.
‒Remove retaining clip -arrow A- and unclip wiring harness from retaining clip -arrow B-. [/ul]
Installing
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; note the following:
‒When installing attach connectors of wiring harness onto corresponding solenoid valves and sender.
‒Clip wiring harness into intended retaining clamps. If the wiring harness is installed differently, it may become jammed when the valve body is reassembled.
‒Install valve body .
‒Top up ATF . [/ul]

It's actually the body colored cover that snaps over the handle on the outside of the car. That part doesnot appear to bebolted on. Someone easily could have stolen it for S&G's. That's why Ihave a feeling that they won't cover it, but I'll try. Since the company I work for (#1 fleet leasing co in NA) just signed with Audi to factory order their cars for our clients, Imight have some pull....
Thanks againDave,I'm glad we got past the first fewposts[sm=smiley20.gif]
